How did I miss this interview in Time a couple of years back starring two of my favorite writers?

NG: I always loved, most of all with doing comics, the fact that I knew I was in the gutter. I kind of miss that, even these days, whenever people come up and inform me, oh, you do graphic novels. No. I wrote comic books, for heaven’s sake. They’re creepy and I was down in the gutter and you despised me. ‘No, no, we love you! We want to give you awards! You write graphic novels!’ We like it here in the gutter!

I just made the mistake of doing a Google search that also found me a review LiveJournal full of crossover and alternate universe fanfics. Scary.

Walking up the hill from Bothell Landing tonight, I heard Ael saying behind me, “Ow, ow, ow…” Looking back over my shoulder, I said, “Define ‘ow’.“

Without missing a beat, she said, “Oh God, oh God, I’m gonna die?”

My co-worker Kelly tells me that for Stargate SG-1’s hundredth episode, they did a show about a program called Wormhole X-Treme, which was a parody of SG-1 created by someone receiving memory leakage from the SG-1 team (or something like that).

For the 200th episode, they’re returning to Wormhole X-Treme. Apparently, it was canceled after only three episodes, but the DVDs sold so well that they’re making a movie out of it. *innocent look*

Ok, this is just evil. Pepe the King Prawn as the Operative? Beaker as River? *runs screaming in pain*
