Disney as corporate scum
See this list of honored teachers in 1992?
Huh, nobody’s highlighted as winning in the Social Studies category. Wonder why that is…
Oh. Yes, this could explain it… (h/t DailyKos)

Actually, it appears that of the 25 signatories of that letter condemning prominent troglodyte John Stossel, only Mr. Casey’s name is missing. Furthermore, there appear to be dozens of other names who have not signed the letter that are missing.
So as repugnant as Disney’s business practices may be, there’s a lot of evidence that this is a computer glitch and nothing more. Honored though I am to pay so that Mr. Casey can spend time in UFT headquarters checking up on awards that he won decades ago, I can only conclude that Mr. Casey jumped the gun this time.
Mr. Casey has previously accused union opposition of Nazism:

He’s blatantly libeled me, attributing to me the words of the LA Times editorial board, in retaliation for my having taking a position against a charter school boss who openly rejected teacher tenure and seniority rights:

And as for censorship, Edwize has been deleting my comments for years now. I regret Mr. Casey does not like to be treated as he treats others.
Still, it behooves him to do a modicum of research before he makes accusations.
