Tonight, I went to the Seattle Blogger Meetup for the first time. I met 8-bit Jake, and introduced myself as “SarekOfVulcan from Wikipedia”. Anita Rowland was there as well, with grandson R—- in tow. Jake interviewed her and tried to interview R—- as well, but he just clammed up when presented with the mike. :-) I also spoke to a couple of other people whose names I will remember when the official report gets posted.

Last night, I was out walking with Ael to Dairy Queen after her class concert at school, when I pointed out the sign to her. “Look, Ael, they’re hiring Popcorn Shrimp!” “Daddy, that’s two different messages!”

In the comments to my post about the C-5s in Bangor, Martin was kind enough to link to a picture of the sort I had requested.

If anyone out there is expecting one of our Christmas letters, I’ll try to get them out before Independence Day…
