At lunch time, I walked over to Costco for their $1.50 dog-and-coke special. SoDo, the area of Seattle where I work, is right near the end of the Boeing Field runways, and the new Costco is in a direct line with them. As I stood in line at the snack bar, I heard a roar from outside. Shortly afterwards, I saw the skylights flicker in a direct line from me to the other end of the store (and those of you who have been in Costco know that this is a fair distance) as the shadow of the plane passed across them.
That’s the second time in two days that I’ve had close encounters with a plane shadow. I wonder if it’s a message…
