Ok, that was too terse…
Earlier this month, I made a single-line post that only makes sense if you know the context. (I tried to supply it earlier, but the post eater chomped on it.)
RSM EJECT /PFZIP100
RSM = Removable Storage Media
EJECT = I am so damned sick and tired of having to move a level up in Explorer and click this link
/P = Physical
F = Friendly Name, as opposed to GUID
ZIP100 = the name of the Zip Disc I was trying to pop out
I could also eject the disc by hitting the button on the drive, but it sometimes took quite a while for Windows to get the message. I put the above command in a batch file and dropped it on my Quick Launch toolbar.
