Honey and vinegar
Well, that was interesting.
I just sent a rather snarky letter to the author of Betanews’ VFP9 goes gold article about what I felt to be several inaccuracies. I received a polite letter back that I felt missed the point of my criticisms. I responded again, with flamethrower still at lightly-crispy. I received another polite letter thanking me for my further clarifications, and indicating that the article might be revised to take my comments into account.
Made me wish I had started out as politely as Mr. Worthington did. It obviously would have gotten me the same place.
