Better stats at last
I’ve been using bStats to track my blog referrers for the past year or so. While it does a good job of tracking actual page hits, it doesn’t tell me anything about aggregators, as the RSS feed doesn’t have the tracking ECMAScript in it. My hosting company also hasn’t told me anything, since I host the blog on a subdomain of donnael.com, and the stats are only on the main domain. However, a query to tech support revealed that there is an option I can turn on that lets me get stats on a subdomain.
In the past two days since it was turned on, I’ve gotten 395 hits on blog.xml, from 96 unique visitors.
